Take 2 Cornwall
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

We aim to offer -

"Unique opportunities supporting young people and their families in the community"

Who are we?

We are an support provider delivering support programmes to young people aged 11 to 25.
We provide experiential support for hard to engage, hard to place young people
We have over 20 years experience working with vulnerable young people who display complex needs and challenging behaviour
We are able to engage with young people through a wide variety of activities which provides the therapeutic opportunities to explore the barriers to their learning
We provide support to young people to reduce the risk of exclusion and help to facilitate re-integration into learning

All young peoples progress will be tracked using comprehensive progress files building a portfolio of individual achievements showing progression throughout their time with us.
All activities can be linked into school based learning activities as required.
Young people will be supported and encouraged to work with staff to plan and develop their own personal support package and take responsibility for developing this as required.
We aim to support the social health and well being through encouraging a healthy lifestyle and making good choices.

Colleges

We have developed close links with the local colleges to enable us to support smooth transitions into Further education. (PETROC and Cornwall Colleges)
We can arrange and support 14/16 placements at college in a wide variety of subjects and explore future pathways for pupils to avoid them becoming "NEET" and to re-engage them in further education, accredited learning, traineeships and apprenticeships.

Activities

All activities are fully risk assessed and tailored to the pupils needs and abilities and linked where needed to educational outcomes.
Individual, flexible targets to support learning.
We achieve this through activity and task based learning, offering individual support for young people and their families, based in their community and the wider world.
