Treleigh Community Primary School
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Treleigh CP School is a growing primary school set on the eastern outskirts of Redruth. There are approximately 315 children on roll and a staff of fifteen full-time teachers, a part-time teacher covering some PPA, another part-time teacher supporting our pupils through their bespoke curriculum, plus the Headteacher and a number of lunchtime, administrative and educational support staff. In addition to the eleven classrooms and the Buzy Bees pre-school group, there is a library, small group work area, computer suite and a shared community room.
All of the classrooms are spacious and very well equipped. Being a primary school, we keep track of the children’s progress from 4 - 11. It is the governors’ intention to keep class sizes as small as possible, and all children are able to take advantage of extra curricular activities if they wish.
During the year, the school takes part in many community activities. Many of the local public services visit the school. We like to be involved wherever possible in the local community, as well as inviting members of the community into school. The school has fostered excellent links with the local church. Children visit the church regularly and local church speakers and visitors come into school to lead assemblies on occasions.

The school car park is available for staff. The school operates a voluntary one-way system at the beginning and end of the day for parents to park outside as it can get a bit congested. Parents may park in The Inn for All Seasons car park, approximately 5 minutes from school, at the beginning and end of the school day and then walk to school.
