Young People's SEND Network
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Young People Cornwall have a group for young people (aged 11-25) who have a SEND (Special Educational, Need or Disability). We aim to meet as a group every month. The main objective of these meetings is for the young people to put forward their point of view and explain what it is like for a young person with SEND living in Cornwall. This feedback can then be taken and discussed at the SEND meetings held by Cornwall Council.
The hope is that, as well as meeting others in similar circumstances and making new friends, the young people who come and contribute to these meetings can have a real impact upon their own present and future situations (and those of other young people with SEND).
If you don't feel comfortable coming to the meetings, but still want to contribute, that is also possible. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions!
