Quethiock CE Primary School
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Quethiock School is a member of the St Barnabas Multi-Academy Trust which, consists of 13 Church of England Primary Schools. The Academy is led by a Board of Directors and an Executive Principal. Each school is led by a Head of School; our school's Head of School is Mr JJ Wilson and our Executive Principal is, Mr Sean Powers.

We are a village school set in the heart of the Cornish countryside. Our school is a very special place, which has a strong Christian Ethos, active relationships with the wider community and a commitment to deliver first class teaching. Whenever people visit our school, they comment on the happy, confident children who benefit from our friendly, caring atmosphere. We believe that our pupils are able to approach their learning with enthusiasm and enjoy meeting challenges, build positive relationships and develop their personal skills and characteristics.

We provide a rich and varied curriculum which inspires our children and helps them to reach their full potential by using a range of teaching styles to meet each individual's needs. We pride ourselves on the progress made by every child, regardless of ability and are supported by the Multi Academy Trust to continue to strive to improve teaching and learning.

Our school has an exciting and stimulating learning environment, sparking pupil curiosity and celebrating success. We also offer a wide range of sporting activities and after school clubs. Additionally, our enthusiastic Parents & Friends Association provides extra funding for lots of extra-curricular activities and trips.

Our children are motivated, confident learners who actively display our 6 Core Values of Thankfulness, Friendship, Responsibility, Respect, Perseverance and Creativity. With these values at the heart of everything we do, this is a happy school that prides itself on high standards and quality teaching and learning for all. We were inspected by Ofsted in June 2022, who assessed our setting as 'Good' with 'Outstanding Early Years Provision'.

After visiting our website, why not come and see for yourself. Call our School Office and make an appointment to meet us. Our school community is our best advertisement and we look forward to meeting you.
