Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer aims to hold all the information relevant to children and young people (0-25yrs) with SEND in one place. We need your help! If you know of a service , or provide a service that supports and provides opportunities to children and young people with SEND, please let us know or add your service/organisation to Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer.
Adding a listing to our website means:
- You will provide families with information about your service/organisation
- You will promote that your service/organisation is inclusive
- You will help children and young people with SEND gain access to more support, activities and opportunities in Cornwall
- You will be part of helping us to review what is on offer to children and young people with SEND so that we can recognise gaps in provision
Keeping Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer up-to-date!
If you are adding your organisation or service to Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer or you already have a service listed, please make sure that you regularly update your information! We will send you reminders, however when there are changes to your service/ organisation please remember to update your Local Offer. Non-updated records are removed after 8 months.
If you need to register to create an account:
- Click ‘my account’ in the toolbar
- Click ‘create an account’
- Complete the questions (you will need access to the email address you register with)
- ‘Activate your account’ will appear, keep this page open and wait for the email with your activation code.
- Copy and paste it into the ‘enter the activation code’ field
- Click ‘activate your account’
- Sign-in
- You will be directed to the homepage, from here, click ‘dashboard’ in the toolbar.
- On the ‘dashboard’ page select ‘listing update’
- Click on ‘create another service’ to create a new listing
- Answer the questions (some are mandatory)
- When you have finished completing the questions, click the ‘submit record’ button
Adding/ updating your information if you are already registered:
- Click ‘my account’ in the toolbar
- Sign-in
- You will be directed to the ‘homepage’, from here, click on the link ‘my account’. In the drop-down list, select the link ‘dashboard’
- On the ‘dashboard’ page click on the link ‘listing update’
- Click on ‘create another service’
- Answer the questions (some are mandatory)
- When you have finished completing the questions, click the ‘submit record’ button
Updating your listing
- Click ‘my account’ in the toolbar
- Sign-in
- You will be directed to the homepage, from here, click on the link ‘my account’. In the drop down list, select the link ‘dashboard’
- On the ‘dashboard’ page click on the link ‘listing update’
- Click on your organisation/service listing
- When you have finished updating the questions, click the ‘submit record’ button
What does the orange LO circle mean?
The orange LO circle next to a listing tells you if a service/ organisation has filled out the inclusion questions and met inclusion criteria on Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer website.
Services use the orange LO circle to indicate to user’s that a service is inclusive, however, we realise that every child’s needs are different so users are encouraged to contact services to discuss their child’s specific needs.
However, we ask services/organisations to:
1) Fill out the inclusion questions in order to make sure the service is listed as a Local Offer service
2) Fill out the inclusion questions accurately and in as much detail and as possible to give users up-to-date, relevant information
