The first part of the concert includes music by Mozart, Vaughan Williams, John Adams and Greig, while the second part is a complete performance of Rimsky Korsakov’s brilliantly colourful Scheherazade – a musical evocation of some of the One Thousand and One Tales of the Arabian Nights. Performed by Cornwall’s inspiring young musicians with compelling energy and musical understanding, many people find that hearing the sound of live music in a large venue is like no other experience. At this concert audience members are free to be themselves, to move around and to express their feeling towards the music.
