Are you a registered childminder in Cornwall? Or are you going through the registration process? 

Would you like a local childminder mentor to answer your queries, keep you up to date with news and create opportunities for you to meet up with other childminders?

In addition to the support from the Early Years Service and Family Information Service (FIS), you can join the Cornwall childminder mentor programme. The programme aims to promote quality and develop the provision of 30 hours funded care in the county.

We will link you one of our locality mentors, each a practising Outstanding childminder, who will offer support, try to answer any queries, keep you up to date with news and create opportunities for you to meet up with other childminders.

Members will receive:

• Peer mentoring support by phone and email, group visits and activities.
• Regular updates via the Early Years Service bulletin and access to a Facebook page for the sharing of ideas and information.
• Access to half termly, evening, Cornwall childminding network meetings.
• An emailed membership certificate.

There is no charge to join but as part of our aim to promote quality we ask you to complete the SEND Local Offer information on your FIS profile.
